Yesterday Dawn, Adam, Alli, Drew, Crystal, Hudson and I went out to Lucas Oil Stadium for the 10:00am tour. I was just so excited all week long and couldn't hardly wait until Saturday. Well I have to say I was very disappointed by the tour because they touted on the ads that we were going to be able to view the suites, the locker room, and go out on the field. Well their idea of viewing the suites and locker room and going on the field and mine were totally different. I had dreamed of going out and laying on the 50 yard line and having my picture taken and then standing by Peyton, Marvin, Dallas, Reggie, and all the others lockers and having my picture taken. Well that didn't happen. Their idea of viewing the suites were- they are on this floor behind that door, and viewing the locker rooms - you could pass by and look in, and being on the field - you could be on the sidelines (and only one of the sidelines) and the end zone with 20,000 other people. Every place we tried to go there was someone standing their saying "I'm sorry you can't go in here, this isn't part of the tour". Well we were pretty disappointed with the tour but it was neat to see the stadium (at least the part we could see). It is a beautiful stadium. The kids were so good - I couldn't believe how good they were. the girls opted not to take the strollers (excellent choice) and instead took their Snugli's. The boys did so good and didn't fuss the whole time (they were in their snuglis most of the time from about 9:30 till about 12:30). About 11:30 the boys were hungry and there was a huge line to get out of the building so we ended up finding a seat to sit in so that they could feed them. Well that was the best thing that could have happened. We got some really good pictures of the boys in the seats and it allowed the stadium to clear out a little bit so that when we got ready to leave we could get some good pictures down on the "field" (sidelines). Adam, his friend Ian and, Alli had already left because they were going to try to go "view" the locker rooms (didn't happen) so they just left the stadium. After the boys ate we headed down to the "field" for out photo opportunity. I took pictures of the girls with the boys, and they took pictures of me sitting on the "field", laying on the "field", and even kissing the "field". We then took the boys out of their Snugli's and let the lay on the "field". They had so much fun and other people were coming by taking pictures of them because they were so cute. Well they said that you could sit on the "field", lay on the "field", and even kiss the "field", but you just couldn't take the "field" home with you. Well they didn't say anything about spitting up on the field. Remember I said the boys just ate, well Drew has a problem with spitting up and he ended up spitting up on the field (a lot). It is right about the 37 yard line on the sideline so he initiated the field. When we told Alli about it she said "He spit up on Peyton Mannings field? He is going to be so mad!" Because of the great photo opportunity we had on the sidelines the day turned out pretty good. Now if I could just land tickets to one of the games so I could be there and actually see them play!
